News about CCRC’s Expansion to serve Families and Providers across the Boston Metropolitan Area
The Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) has been awarded contracts to provide Child Care Resource and Referral services in most of the communities
surrounding Boston across the metropolitan area/EEC Region 4 (click here to see map).
CCRC is the provider of Voucher and
Information & Referral Services for all families in 50 cities and towns, and is the lead agency for the Region 4 Professional Development Partnership (R4PDP) supporting educators and providers in all 60 cities and towns in the region.
This expansion offers CCRC the opportunity to use our experience, capacities, and resources:
- To expand effective service models, and models for building creative and productive local collaborations, that have proven successful over our 40-year history, to serve low- and moderate-income families throughout the MetroWest region;
- To build on positive and constructive relationships with early childhood education and out-of-school-time (ECE/OST) providers and educators throughout the region to build the workforce and improve the quality of education and care for all children;
- To enhance partnerships, and create new connections, with Coordinated Family and Community Engagement (CFCE) programs, advocates, and community-based agencies that can further benefit families and ECE/OST providers and educators;
- To help strengthen connections among all players in the region that have developed through collaborative efforts over time, to build an integrated, seamless delivery system that benefits children, families/caregivers, educators, and providers.
