National Early Care and Education and School Age Organizations
Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care- The Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) licenses child care programs in MA, helps eligible families pay for and access early education child care and out-of-school time programs, and provides funding and support for a statewide network of training and professional development services and resources.
National Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies -NACCRRA is the national network of more than 850 child care resource and referral centers (CCR&Rs) located in every state and most communities across the US. CCR&R centers help families, child care providers, and communities find, provide, and plan for affordable, quality child care.
National Association for the Education of Young Children– national organization dedicated to improving the well-being of all young children, with particular focus on the quality of educational and developmental services for all children from birth through age 8.
National Network for Child Care - the only national professional association for the afterschool field.
National AfterSchool Association -Membership organization dedicated to the development, education, and care of children and youth during out of school hours

Information Clearinghouses
ERIC Clearinghouse on Elementary & Early Childhood Education -sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education, Institute of Education Sciences (IES). Offers free access to more than 1.2 million bibliographic records of journal articles and other education-related materials.
Information Clearinghouse of the University of Minnesota- The Children, Youth and Family Consortium's web site is a bridge to a wide range of information and resources about children and families.

Families and Work Institute – The Families and Work Institute (FWI) is a non-profit, non-partisan research organization whose studies of the changing workforce, the changing workplace, the changing family and the changing community result in action.
Child Trends Data Bank - An on-line resource for the latest national trends and research on over 100 key indicators of child and youth well-being, with new indicators added each month!
Early Childhood Focus- Early Childhood Focus provides parents, early childhood professionals, policy-makers, and advocates with the latest early childhood news from around the country.
National Center for Children in Poverty- The National Center for Children in Poverty (NCCP) is the nation’s leading public policy center dedicated to promoting the economic security, health, and well-being of America’s low-income families and children.
